THREE-SEASON ROOM
The three-season room: another successful project by All Pro Construction and Restoration in Delaware. Here’s a breakdown of the construction and design details.
Design & Layout
-
Large Windows: The room features expansive, energy-efficient vinyl windows on all sides, maximizing natural light and visibility. This is typical for a three-season room, designed to be used spring through fall.
-
Transom Windows: There are transom-style windows above the main panes, adding architectural interest and enhancing airflow and light.
-
Sliding & Fixed Panels: Some of the windows appear to be sliding for ventilation, while others are fixed to maintain insulation.
-
Door Access: The room includes a full-light door leading to the patio, maintaining visibility and natural flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Interior Finishes
-
Flooring: Durable luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring is used, ideal for transitional spaces due to its resistance to moisture and easy maintenance.
-
Walls & Trim: Clean drywall finishing with baseboards and outlet placements make this feel more like a finished interior room than an outdoor space.
-
Ceiling & Lighting: Recessed lighting in the ceiling provides a clean look and efficient lighting when natural light fades. The ceiling fan is great for air circulation during warmer months.
Exterior Construction
-
Siding Match: The exterior siding of the porch matches the house’s existing structure (blue vinyl siding), which maintains architectural cohesion.
-
White Trim: Clean white window and door trim adds a crisp, modern look that contrasts nicely with the siding.
-
Patio Connection: The room opens onto a paver patio: the whole outdoor area was considered in the renovation.
