At All Pro Construction and Restoration, we recently had the pleasure of transforming a backyard space for a wonderful client here in Sussex County, Delaware. The project included the construction of a beautiful three-season room along with a custom paver patio and a decorative retaining wall — creating an inviting outdoor living space that the homeowners can enjoy nearly year-round.

Three-Season Room Construction

We began by designing a fully screened three-season room directly off the back of the home. The structure features:

Durable aluminum framing and powder-coated white railings for a clean, crisp look that resists rust and corrosion.
Custom-matched vinyl siding to seamlessly integrate the new room with the existing house exterior.
A sloped shingle roof, framed and finished to match the home’s roofline for a unified appearance.
Heavy-duty screen panels to keep bugs out while allowing maximum airflow and visibility.
Concrete flooring, finished smooth and level, creating a sturdy, low-maintenance surface perfect for relaxing or entertaining.

We also installed high-quality gutters and downspouts to ensure proper drainage, extending the downspouts with splash blocks to protect the surrounding landscaping.

Patio and Retaining Wall

Adjacent to the three-season room, we crafted a stylish and functional patio area using premium concrete pavers. These pavers were carefully selected for their durability and aesthetic appeal, providing a rustic, textured look that complements the home beautifully.

The patio is enhanced by a curved decorative retaining wall built with Cambridge Armortec wall blocks, known for their strength and attractive natural stone finish. The wall not only defines the patio space but also serves as additional seating for gatherings around the fire pit.

Process and Attention to Detail

We started with careful site preparation, grading the area for proper drainage and setting a solid, compacted gravel base for both the patio and the three-season room foundation.
Laser-guided leveling ensured that the pavers were perfectly even, preventing any future settling or tripping hazards.
The retaining wall was professionally engineered, with a solid gravel backfill and hidden drainage to maintain its integrity over time.
Throughout construction, we maintained close communication with the homeowners to ensure the design details matched their vision every step of the way.
